Mohammed Al Jahwari
Mohammed Al Jahwari has 20 years experience In the industry. From Administration, field operations, Business development, technology development to management positions.
His background is Wellplacement, Measurement and logging while drilling, Hardrock Drilling And Drilling optimization, with Bakerhughes, Halliburton and Midwest Oilfield Services in Oman.
Ali Al Batrani
Ali Al Batrani has 16 years of local and international experience within the oil & gas industry, having worked with multinational organisations, such as Baker Hughes Inteq and Halliburton.
He is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the Sultan Qaboos University, Oman and holds an MBA from the University of Hull, UK. In addition to having hands on experience with well logging, directional drilling, performance enhancement, field development, enhanced oil recovery and project management, Ali is also knowledgeable in risk management, budgeting, change management, cost control, resource planning and HSE. Prior to co-founding HCF, Ali served as the Managing Director for Midwest Oil Field Services. He is a Board Member and manages the Company’s external affairs.
Andrew has over 30 years of experience within the upstream oil & gas industry. He has held senior technical, corporate and management roles within several large operators and service companies.
Andrew is a trained geophysicist and brings with him in-depth knowledge and expertise, gained by working within conventional and non-conventional oil & gas fields across Australia SE Asia and Europe. In his various positions, he was responsible for technical and commercial evaluation of upstream opportunities, including redevelopment projects for mature oil fields.
Dinakar is a finance professional with nearly fifteen years of experience. Prior to joining Hydrocarbon Finder in 2016 Dinakar lead PwC’s oil & gas and power utilities assurance practice in Oman.
He started his career as an auditor and over the years gained specialist knowledge in the oil and gas and utilities industries. Dinakar has extensive knowledge of the production sharing agreements and the regulatory environment in Oman. As an oil and gas industry specialist Dinakar advised some of the biggest companies in the oil and gas industry in Oman on complex accounting and business issues unique to the industry. Dinakar brings with him a gamut of experience, ranging from setting up control frameworks, governance structures, to designing business processes and financial reporting in oil and gas industry. Dinakar is a Chartered Accountant from India. He is also an alumni of PwC’s MyWay leadership programme.
Said Rashid Al-Bimani
Acting Finance Manager
Said has 10 year experience in E&P industry Prior to joining HCF, Said worked as Chief Account with Petrogas E&P LLC, a company engaged in the exploration and production of oil & gas
Petrogas E&P has a presence in Middle east, Europe and Africa. Said was in charge of the corporate accounts department, group reporting, group Cash flow and incharge of Block 7 Finance department
Mutaz Elyas is HCF E&P Production and Facility Manager, a position he assumed in June 2016. Prior to current position, he held various technical, engineering, operational, & management positions.
He has experience of twenty years in the oil & gas industry in the International service and E&P companies mainly in the Middle East. Mutaz earned a Master degree in mechanical engineering from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, and Post Graduate Degree in Economics & Management from the Russian State Geological Prospecting University
Starting her career in the North Sea, Nicola has over 18 years experience within the oil and gas industry, 10 of which have been within the Sultanate of Oman.
Resourceful and competent QHSE professional following a modern approach to all aspects of QHSE, specialising in international standards (ISO & OHSAS), Nicola has a successful history of developing, implementing and continually improving integrated management systems.
Pankaj Kumar Neog
Based in Oman for the past 13+ years, Pankaj worked as Sr. Reservoir Engineer with P.D.O, Shell, Daleel Petroleum and Petrogas E&P before joining HCF.
He has worked extensively in all the core areas of Reservoir Engineering and used his expertise for optimal development and exploitation of hydrocarbon reservoirs both in clastic and carbonate environments. Pankaj was also responsible for recruitment and coaching of young Omani Reservoir Engineers while in PDO, Daleel and Petrogas. Prior to Oman, Pankaj had worked for a National Oil Company in India and headed the Reservoir Engineering Section. He has a B.Tech degree from Indian School of Mines, India and an MS degree from the University of Oklahoma, USA both in Petroleum Engineering.
Kofi Bedu Abiwu
Kofi has over 25 years work experience in the oil and gas industry. Before joining HCF late 2017, he had worked with MB Petroleum Services and 10 years with PDO.
Kofi holds an M.Sc. Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Miskolc, Hungary. He has been working in drilling, completion and well intervention, gaining extensive experience in these fields and using his expertise to adapt and implement new technologies in completion and well intervention. Over the years he has worked as Rig Manager of drilling rig, Rig Superintendent, DSV, Well Operations Engineer, Well Engineer and Senior Well Engineer. During the last 4 years in PDO, Kofi was responsible for training and coaching young Omani graduates in Basic Well Engineering and Shell Round-1 in Well Engineering. Before coming to Oman, Kofi had worked in Hungary, Austria and Syria in Shell-AFPC concessions.
Salma Al Saadi
HR & Admin Assistant
Salma Al Saadi holds a bachelors of Business Administration from Mazoon Collage affiliated with Missouri University of Science and Technology USA.
She has a total of 9 years’ experience in multiple fields. She started her career in TECLUTION an International IT instrumentation company worked as an Admin assistant, then she worked her way up to an Office manager in NORTAL an International IT solution company. In 2015, she joined Zurich Insurance company as an Admin & HR specialist. She completed her HR courses and is certified by OPAL as a professional HR. In 2016, Salma joined Hydrocarbon Finder as Admin supervisor and HR assistant.
HCF has a close partnership agreement with Senergy to provide technical support. LR Senergy is a member of the Lloyd’s Register Group, and is a renowned exploration, production and energy services consultancy providing technical expertise to a broad, global client base of operators, investors and energy vendors.
Headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland Senergy operates from offices in the UK, Norway, Middle East, Malaysia, Australia, USA and Indonesia. Their teams are currently active on more than 1,000 projects for over 200 clients. Their senior team has 600 years of combined experience in energy projects. Senergy offers a full lifecycle capability, backed up by specialist staff of over 800, most of whom are technical professionals in the upstream oil and gas sector. In terms of resource base Senergy, therefore, is equivalent to a medium-sized upstream oil & gas company.
Alan is a geophysicist with over 25 years international experience including the Gulf of Mexico and the Timor Sea. Alan was a senior interpreter at BHP Petroleum working both internationally and on Australian projects. He also spent several years working for Santos in the Cooper Basin.
Alan’s main areas of expertise are 3D seismic interpretation, stratigraphic interpretation, attribute analysis and exploration/field development in areas with complex geology.
